Applications
The Collective is always open to applications for new members. That said, there are a few requirements that you should take into account if you are considering joining our guild.
All applications will be considered, but STRONG PREFERENCE will be given to characters who are at least level 40 and who have a mount. We are looking for committed players to mix with the level ranges of our guild members and to join us in the endgame.
» First and foremost, applicants should have read our
Mission Statement and
Rules of Conduct and be in agreement with its policies and guidelines. By applying for membership, you agree to follow the rules in our charter and conduct yourself accordingly.
» We use
Ventrilo∞ for voice chat in PvE and PvP raids. Having a microphone/being able to talk is not required, but you will be expected to be able to listen to follow instructions and communicate more efficiently in raids.
» Our website is an important tool for organization. Guild members are expected to be active in checking our forums for news and discussions.
» Loot whores are not wanted. We are a social guild, and while we are becoming active in all endgame content, if you are playing this game solely for the loot please do us both a favor and apply somewhere else. We do not use a DKP system for raid loot, we use a system based on participation and officer discretion.
If your application is accepted, you will hold the rank of Recruit for a period of usually 3-4 weeks. New recruits to the guild, no matter what level, will go through this probationary period, during which time you'll prove your worth and your actions to the guild. We will test your social and gameplay skills and if at the end of that period you have not proven yourself to be a sociable, mature, and skillful player, you will not be extended membership status in The Collective.
