Rules of Conduct
To be in The Collective means living up to a number of basic expectations that we have set forth. We consider it very easy to play the game by these rules and still enjoy the guild and the game to the fullest extent. We do!
» Everyone should have read and be familiar with the rules and guidelines in our Guild Charter. We should all be on the same page here.
» Having a sense of humor is very important in our guild - but we laugh with each other more than at each other. We love to joke around and have a good time, but we also take the game seriously when needed. We believe anything worth doing is worth doing well.
» An important part of guild teamwork is following and respecting the decisions and suggestions of your officers. Coordination is an important part of our gameplay, and it's important that we use and build upon the trust people have earned.
» Collective members will show respect to their officers and guildmates, but also their enemy. Everyone is playing a game, just like you are.
» Collective members will not create drama. There will be arguments, but everyone will do their best to resolve the issues and put it behind them. All altercations and issues will be brought to the attention of officers through tells or PMs, and not resolved on the forums or guild chat.
» Collective members are expected to exhibit a certain degree of maturity when dealing with their fellow players. Being rude or abusive in guild chat or general chat channels will not be tolerated. Remember, Your actions reflect those of the guild.
» Collective members will be expected to check the guild forums on a regular basis for news and discussion about important topics.
We live and play by these guidelines, and any player who is found to be in violation of this code of conduct will be dealt with accordingly. We use a demerit system to deal with disciplinary actions.
Ignorance is not an excuse! These are principles that everyone of every playstyle can embrace.
The Collective is well-known as a fun and trustworthy guild on our server, and the way we have achieved this is through teamwork and cooperation within the guild.
We want people - not just players - who can function socially, who know how to unplug when things don't go perfectly, and who enjoy playing the game with others above all else.
